Original Fine Art Prints By Dorothy Behringer - Flowers Set

This is a set of Fine art prints made from original oil paintings by my Grandmother, Dorothy Behringer. You can both as a set or you can buy individual prints. These are professionally created fine art prints perfect for framing. Each print measures 7 1/7 inches x 23 inches plus the margins. Once these prints are sold out, they are gone! Dorothy is still drawing, but at 96, she is no longer creating oil paintings.

A little about Dorothy Behringer: 

Dorothy Behringer is a life-long artist, born and raised in North Dakota. Lived in Minnesota for a number of years and currently resides in Wisconsin at the age of 96.

     Dorothy took a few classes in her early 20’s, but developed her own realistic unique style over the years starting with landscapes. She developed her talent for wildlife painting after extensive field observation and photo studies. You will notice as much detail in the landscapes as in the wildlife she paints. Every detail in her oils must appear as it does in nature.

     Dorothy feels if a painting or one of her many poems that she writes brings pleasure to someone, the creation of her pen or brush has been worth far more than the effort of doing them.

     On all of her artwork, you will see a small cross under her signature. All of her work was intended to bring glory to God. She knew all along that only God could give her the talent she shares. She wrote this poem to describe her work.

              Don’t call me just an artist,

                   For I have things to do,

              There are scenes that I must capture

                   Scenes on earth and in the blue.

              To be the one who in my way

                   Gives beauty to those we love,

              To paint the scenes upon this earth

                   And give credit to God above.
